Presqu’île
Presqu’ile is a project that seeks to question our fresh food consumption habits, particularly fruits and vegetables and how to avoid food waste.
It is around the ancestral preservation technique of evaporative cooling that this module is conceptualized. For example, fruits and vegetables are stored in a cool space, rather than cold, to keep all their organoleptic qualities. With an organizational system, food can be seen easily. No way to lose the lemon in the back of the refrigerator, stacked under other fruits!
The idea is to encourage the user to consume fresh produce by
integrating a responsible cycle through this system.

The choice of materials is in accordance with the life span of the product. The life cycle of the product becomes coherent with the material used.

Piati salati are homemade salt plate that can be prepare in few minutes in the microwave, using ceramic molds that we designed. Two shapes have been develop. The salt plates are composed of a mixture of salt, spices and corn starch. They are elegant and original objects to present and serve foods that are seasoned in contact with the plate.
